Shopping
So it is now two weeks since we started our isolation. The wife went shopping this morning as we had nothing left in the house at all and she had to queue for 40 minutes just to get into Tesco.

We are nicely filled up with food and drink now though after she spent £150. Although it was nice to have a sandwich with fresh bread for a change!
Sick
As you might have read yesterday, I had a bit of a funny turn, but I felt rough for most of the day today as well. I spent pretty much all day in bed today. No idea what has been wrong with me, but feeling much better this evening.
Fresh Air
I think I need some fresh air so planning on going out in the back garden tomorrow and maybe wash the cars as well. For some reason, both our cars are absolutely covered in sand. Need to turn over the wife’s car anyway to make sure that the battery is still holding it’s charge ok.
Football Manager 2020
I decided to start a new season on Football Manager 2020 this evening and I’ve started as Man Utd manager. I’ve sold all of their deadwood (of which there is a lot!) and bought Jack Grealish from the mighty Villa and Odsonne Édouard from Celtic.

I’ve got off to a flyer, won all the pre-season games by a load of goals and so far won the first five games of the season without conceding a goal. I don’t know how Ole makes it look so hard!
WrestleMania
It’s WrestleMania weekend, but with a bit of a difference. Due to CoronaVirus, the massive stadium show that is the norm for WrestleMania is cancelled, instead being played out over two nights at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
It really doesn’t work without the crowds and it’s just like another episode of Raw as it has been over the last few weeks, also at the WWE Performance Center.
I’ll catch up on the Sunday night one over the next week.
Roku
We have three Roku’s in our house, but it’s still seemingly not enough after a full-on meltdown from my four-year-old when I borrowed it for downstairs. So, I’ve had to order another one, meaning we will have four Roku’s in the house.
Wish Laptop Gamble
I bought something from Wish today. I’ve been toying with the idea for a long, long time but always thought that they must be a rip-off. With the amount of money I have saved in fuel though by not having to travel to work, I thought sod it, let’s try it.
I found a Huawei MateBook 13 Ultrabook, apparently with an i7 Processor, 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM and looks like a nice little machine – for just £59!

I know, it seems also too good to be true, but I read the description over and over and over again to make sure I wasn’t buying a laptop for a doll’s house (a Wish trick that one!) and decided to go for it. So I have ordered it and it should be here within around 10 days. Keep your eyes peeled here to see whether a dog kennel turns up or whether I actually get a high spec laptop for £60.
CoronaVirus Stats for Today
Another grim day for the UK as another 708 people have died in the last 24 hours with infections also hitting 4,353.
Worldwide there have now been 1,197,405 infections and a total of 64,606 deaths.
